365 albums. the project

365img

Listening to an album everyday sounds ridiculous right?…

The project came as an idea to help me build my musical knowledge. Me and my friends would often chuck around lists (“What would your top 5 albums be for driving in the snow?”). I was concerned about the fact that I had not heard everything that there was to hear and make a faux pas and suggest something completely wrong…

The antidote? Listen to more music.

So I set myself an ambitious target – listen to 365 albums in a year. I started this little experiment on January 20th and managed to finish on December 31st 2006.

Thanks to everyone who lent me, gave me advice on, gave me grief on the music to listen to. Post as many comments as you want.
