nicks music basement I’m always looking for a cheap deal on CD’s; you can never have enough in the house, and they are always an appropriate gift (NIN’s The Slip for Nana? No worries!).

Stumbling on to ‘Nick’s Music Basement’ was probably the nicest surprise of the month so far – there is a heap of fair priced discs, vinyl for the purists, and not a Top 40 album chart in sight (that I could see).

Specialising in Alternative, Indie, Punk, Metal and Folk, Nick aim’s

“to offer New Zealand fair pricing over all of the products in our catalog, not just a select few new release titles. You will find over 250,000 items in our database from a variety of musical styles, many outside of the genres we actively promote.”

Cool. And they have the last two Modest Mouse and Kings of Leon albums in their clearance section for $15! Woohoo.

Check it all out here.
