Attack and Release…meant for Ike Turner?

guitarI’m rabidly awaiting the next Black Keys album (April 1st) – but rumor has it that some of the songs on the Danger Mouse produced album weren’t actually meant for the Akron duo.

The collaboration came about when Burton approached the band to compose tracks for the late Ike Turner’s new album, before an unfortunate turn of events saw the band realising they’d rather keep the songs to themselves.

Spooky.
